Loreal Paris has recently launched their new mascara, The Loreal Curl Impact Collagene. And i was the blogger event of this awesome mascara.
Loreal Curl Impact Collagene Mascara

Left, Side ( curl side of wand toward you) for Curl
Right, Front (flat side of wand towards you) for volume

During the event, Loreal also introduced to us they new range of eye shadows, Loreal Open Eyes Pro.
Comes in 4 different color, Blue, Purple, Brown and Black.
And with the mascara's gold and luxurious look, it also promises 13 times more volume and curl that last all day long with its specially formulation and wand.
Let's start with what is in the mascara.
Formulated with:
Amplifying Collagene, that helps plump up lashes instantly to give you that jet set volume without weighing the lashes down.
Film Wrapped Polymer, that help set lashes in its curling position. And, Extra Hard Olive Wax, which fixes and holds the lashes in it curling position to last all day long.
The mascara may sound very stubborn *which means hard to remove*, but surprisingly it is only smudge proof! which means that it can be easily removed with warm water.
Next, the wand!
The Loreal Curl Impact Collagene comes with a 2-sided spiral brush that is specially designed for asian lashes. Allowing effective application and reach to all those short and sparse lashes.

Why i like it:
I absolutely love mascaras that wands come with 2 sides , one flat and one rounded. The reason i love wands like that is because i'm nv a big fan of eye lash curlers, in fact i can't remember when was the last time i actually used a eyelash curler on myself.
And whats my trick to a curlier lash, The flat side of the mascara. YES! all i did was to raise my head alittle and look down into the mirror when i'm applying my mascara with the flat side first.

And whats my trick to a curlier lash, The flat side of the mascara. YES! all i did was to raise my head alittle and look down into the mirror when i'm applying my mascara with the flat side first.
One of the reason i like mascara with flat side is because most of the products are strucked in the center of the wand and a full round brush mascara wand wouldnt allow us reach to the center of the wand, where all the products are. But with the flat side of the wand access to more product is given. Not only the products, with the flat side of the wand, i am able to give my lashes a little lift/ push everytime i apply my mascara, giving my lash that eyelash curler curling effect.
Why i dun like it:
As contradicting as it can get, i'm having a love hate relationship with the mascara itself. The product is super thick and it allows immediate volume for my lashes BUT too much of product and my lashes turn into cockroach legs!! Also, the formula is a little wet. Although it doesnt take a long time to dry, still.. i dont really like wet formulas coz stupid things like sneezing while applying mascara always happens to me, sound stupid but it's real.
I guess as a whole the Loreal curl impact collagene is a good mascara for those with fine and straight or droopy lashes cause it gives volume and curl plus it holds your curls for the entire day.
oh yes one thing to mention. Removing this mascara... on the package of this mascara it states that the product is smudge proof which means it is removable with warm water. I've tried removing it with my cleansing wipes but a little rubbing is needed. I've also tried removing it by walking into the shower and guess wat, the mascara came off without mi rubbing and tugging. So, warm water is the key to removing this mascara.
